Ariston Combi A 24 MFFi Boiler - Hot Water
Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.00 PM
I have an Ariston Combi boiler that is approximately 6 years old. At present I am struggling to get a decent flow of hot water. Based on some crude testing, I can achieve 40C at a flow rate of 2.4 litres/min or 30C at 6 litres/min. The setting on the boiler is at its maximum setting of 60C. Also, the central heating is working well. Please could you suggest what the problem may be and what I should do about it. Many thanks, Kenneth

Hi Kenneth
Normally when you have low temperature and low flow rates, it would indicate that the domestic heat exchanger is scaled up. They are a plate heat exchanger on that model so very likely that is the problem.
