carpet cutting around the front of an open fire

Please can you tell me if every carpet fitter will use carpet grippers to edge my carpet and fold it under after cutting, as I am having an open fire fitted and want a professional finish/look to the end product.
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

All fitters should use gripper and duck carpet on any finish edge unless carpet has underlay and customer wants it laid straight to floor (not advised) then it would be spray adhesives used. Hope this helps

You can also get a good finish if you put a single edge plate and mitre cut it. Hope this was helpful. Thanks ozzy.
