Improving ventilation in roof of 1930s property to comply with building regs

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.03 PM

We're selling our house and the buyers' survey has come back with a few things but one of the main concerns is a lack of ventilation in the roof (our property was built in the 1930's). What would be involved in ventilating the roof to comply with building regs and what type of solutions would we be looking at to get it installed? Thanks!

Best off getting tile or slate vents or ridge vents to allow a airflow into the loft space

Hi bartannah T.k.roofing are right, that would work you could also fit soffit vents around the building and this would be cheaper as you're selling the property. Hope this helps
