thermostat to bring pump on when water comes to a certain temperature?

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.03 PM

Hi, I have just recently opened up my old fireplace. It is set up to heat the radiators, but I have to switch pump on manually to circulate the water. Is there any type of thermostat I can buy and install that will bring pump on when water comes to a certain temperature

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hello, yes you can fix a pipe stat on the flow when this reaches set temperature it will bring the pump on. Now if this system is doing the hot water also, you can put the stat on the return pipe so the pump won't come in until your domestic water is warm.
