Fortic primatic tank...killed the air bubble

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.02 PM

Hi, I wanted to remove a rad, so I drained the tank, took off the rad and refilled. But now the heating and hot water won't work, the back boiler fires up and the tank gets hot in the bottom part. I've been told I've "killed the bubble". How do I fix this? Please us layman's terms.

You have an air lock in the gravity hot water pipes . When you drain off a primatic the bubble forms naturally when you re fill Put boiler on to hot water only and turn the boiler stat to full Run it for an hour
