How big a job is refitting a gas pipe from connection to boiler?
Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 2.59 PM
Unfortunately I've just discovered that whoever first installed the boiler in my home, fitted the wrong size gas pipe from the connection to the boiler. National Grid have discovered this when recently out investigating a leak in a neighbours flat. They've re-connected me but told me the wrong size pipe is dangerous and I need to get it fixed. Is this a big job? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

You would do better by inviting a Gas Safe engineer around to survey the job rather then us answering blind.

You need a gas safe registered engineer to look at the job in hand
