Hi - we want to add underfloor heating to our conservatory. What is the best material to use, wood or some kind of laminate?

Hello in answer to your question we always recommend a 12 to 20 mm thickness wooden floor as this will not feel cold on the foot compared to the thin laminate. They will both conduct the heat from the under floor heating but your probably find you will not need it on as much with the solid flooring.
Many Thanks

Hi, we usually install electric under floor heating with ceramic or porcelain tiles over the wiring, wooden flooring will always feel warm under-foot but will be more susceptible to extreme heat fluctuations.
Does the conservatory have existing flooring? and insulation in the concrete? If not an insulation board can be installed prior to tiling or wooden flooring.
