How should i go about cleaning the green algae and general dark stains from a large, soft wood, round picnic table that has been outside for years?

HI
To remove algae from wood, 1 cup of Oxy-bleach to 2 pints of water, will help the dark stains too, to a degree. Always wear protective gloves and safety goggles/glasses when using any type of bleach,beware chemicals of this nature can harm animals, even light winds could blow the liquid into eyes. Hydrogen peroxide solution will lighten the wood.
