How to create a straight line between ceilings and walls freehand? Does one touch the ceiling with the wall colour, or never touch the ceiling with wall colour?
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Trick is big brush ie 4 in plus fully loaded.
Personally I always paint the ceiling first and over paint that colour onto the wall (only a few cm). Then once it's dry paint the colour walls cutting into the ceiling

To get a straight line you can use low tack "Frog" tape it holds back paint from bleeding beyond the tape edge.
