Best kitchen floor that will last and be more child-friendly

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 2.59 PM

Hi I have approx. 25 sqm of kitchen and hallway, mostly laid with porcelain tiles which I want to tile over (there will be a couple of areas of floor untiled due to moving the kitchen around). Flooring needs to be tough and will last, I'd prefer something warmer under foot and less likely to cause injury to my toddler who is learning to walk. We've looked at Karndean tiles but having had two comparable quote (2k) to supply and fit really want to see if there is something (cheaper!) we've missed!

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?
