Best option - laminated or toughened glass?

hello, toughened glass ,when broken, will shatter into thousands of harmless small pieces which are less likely to cause damage than standard glass, whereas laminated , as the previous tradesman said , will retain its shape, just crack and stay together,

I would recommend Laminated glass as it stays together if broken.

hello , laminated glass is more secure than toughened , but is also twice the weight and may drag a door down if not heel and toed right ,,, thanks
