Valliant Ecomax boiler - 0 pressure and no filling loop

Anonymous user 14/03/2024 - 2.31 PM

Hello, I had no hot water this morning, and the boiler was showing fault code 28. I reset it, and it now appears to be working again. However the pressure gauge is at '0'. I've trawled online forums which say I simply need to turns some taps on the filling loop. My boiler definitely doesn't have this - I have pictures of the underside! I have just moved into a new flat, so unfortunately I don't have the boiler manual therefore I don't know the exact model. But I know it's one of the Valliant Ecomax series. I feel like this is something I really ought to be able to fix myself, rather than calling somebody out. Any guidance would be very much appreciated. Thank you

Valliant filling loops are not obvious to see first time, I doubt it when you state there is not one fitted, or how else did the installer fill the heating circuit! Try looking closer or contact the manufacturer, they will help.
