Is it ok for a waste pipe to run under the wooden floor of a conservatory?
Anonymous user 22/02/2024 - 2.32 PM
We are buying a property and the home buyers report came back saying the conservatory was built over drains and drainage outflow pipes. From looking at the searches that have come back from severn trent, the water company, the plans don't show any drains anywhere under the house. The vendors have said that it is not built on any drainage however there is a waste pipe that runs under the laminate flooring in the conservatory. Is this ok?

The only obvious concern would be maintenance of the waste pipe should it become blocked. Is it possible to re-route this waste pipe so that any future problems can be avoided?
