Concrete base and single glazed aluminium conservatory removal
Anonymous user 01/03/2024 - 2.49 PM
I have an old conservatory that needs to be removed, which is a fairly straightforward job. However, it has a brick and concrete base (3 bricks high), which is level with the damp course. I would have preferred to leave the base down and use it as a raised terrace area. Would it be possible/practical to make a channel between the house wall and the base to allow for drainage, or would it be better to remove the base completely and how should that be done? I'm concerned about possible damage to the back door, whilst this is being removed. I look forward to your replies, thank you.

Yes it is possible to cut a channel out and put a aco drainage in as long as you have a gully for it to connect into
