I have tried to steam wallpaper of the wall, at the same time I have lifted drywall off as well now i have patches all over the wall 10"x10" especially around the window. can i patch it or does the whole wall need re-plastering?
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

This unfortunately happens with some types of plaster and it is best to avoid using a steamer in these situations. It's difficult to say whether it needs replastering without seeing the wall.

You have left the steam plate on the wall surface too long.
