Artex on exterior wall

The side of our house (half of it anyway) is artex and wooden dividers - so it resembles a Tudor style house. So we have had a leak at the side of the house - which along with some bad bouts of weather left the artex all coming off it bits - like it's peeling off. I've a plasterer who will do the work for me - but is finding it difficult sourcing the artex. Is it hard to come by for an exterior wall of a substantial size? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks

You can't get Artex for exterior use, never have been able to. I would say what you have is an exterior coating...if you search the web you will find it, probably made by Cemetone or Sandtex?
