Can I use a heat gun on panel doors?

Can I use a heat gun to remove the paint and would it affect the wood grain on doors?
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi, I wouldn't recommend doing this. Look for a 'dipping' service, they will take the doors away for you and dip them removing any paint and restoring them to near new condition.

Yes its is all part of the job for a good decorator , heat gun followerd by paint stripper and wire wool.
