Hello Student,
Depends on the type of bricks you intend to use, it could fluctuate, deep frogs (the inset key) will obviously need more than say a solid type of brick, (which have a flat surface) wet-sand/dry sand etc all have an effect, but if you work on the ratio of 1:4 sand and cement around a tonne of mixed mortar for 750 facing bricks you shouldn't be so far out.

1 ton bag of building sand and 5 bags of cement.
