Low water pressure from mains with a combi boiler so what type of shower do I buy?

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 2.58 PM

Hi I have very low pressure from the water mains and we had a new combi boiler (no cold water tank) fitted last year. We are wanting to renew the whole bathroom suite and add a shower but don't know what type of shower we need to purchase. Any ideas please? Thanks

Get a local plumber to look at your mains pressure and flow rate. If it is a low mains pressure problem you could have a mains pressure pump fitted made by salamander and you can check it out on the website www.home-boost.co.uk It will boost your pressure by typically 1.5bar regulating your flow to 12ltrs per min. As a result, you can enjoy full flowing showers, speedy bath fill and improved effectiveness of your combi boiler. It's very quiet too. Kevin.
