Loss of Pressure....
Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.00 PM
We have recently changed our kitchen sink unit, which included changing out the old individual hot & cold taps, to a single "Pull out Chrome faucet/tap".... When the water was turned back on, the pressure when"trying" to use the Hot Water, is only a that above a trickle........ whereby it used to be pretty much as even as the Cold flow. The cold flow in the kitchen is Great, as are the Hot & Cold to bath & basin, in the bathroom. Our property is spread over 1 single level only.......... Should this lack of pressure be occurring with the Hot Water in the kitchen? Is there a simple solution to remedy this? Thanks in advance for any light you can shed on this matter, as am tearing hair out !! Thank you Stuart & James. In answer to the question re the boiler, it is gravity fed, located in the airing cupboard of the bathroom, & as I said all on one floor. If it is indeed an air block, is that something I can remedy myself, or would I need a plumber? I am just confused with it now being one lever operating the hot & cold flow, with now having a mixer tap (& not the old separate hot & cold taps, where I could run, one or both at the same time...) Thanks
