Filling a hole from sunken hot tub and replacing laminate flooring in conservatory

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 2.57 PM

I am looking at buying a house that has a hot tub sunken into the laminate floor of the conservatory. I have consulted a hot tub specialist who has quoted on the removal of the tub. What would need to be done to fill the hole before we could lay new laminate flooring in the conservatory? Thanks

Fill and compact with hardcore in 150mm layers with a compactor plate and finish with 150mm concrete finish - do not forget you will need to install a damp proof membrane which may be difficult to tie into the one fitted around the hole.
