Repair Walls After Removing Tiles
Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 2.45 PM
Hello. I have just removed tiles from the bay inlet around the toilet window and quite a bit of the plaster beneath has come off, particularly adjacent to the window surround. What is the best way to repair the whole area, including both the usual rough terrain you would expect where the plaster has stayed intact and also the areas where plaster has come off leaving small areas of exposed brickwork?

Hi there. The most common procedure here is to pva the area and then to bond the area using thistle bonding coat to fill out and get flat ready for skimming.
