how do i get tile adhesive off chipboard floor

how can i remove tile adhesive off chipboard floor in order to retile it

Hmmm, remove chipboard and replace with at least 18mm ply. You should not tile onto chipboard.

Usually with great difficulty, you can try warm soapy water then scraping off. If not it may be beneficial to board over in a thin plywood.

Hi,you will have a very hard job in removing the tile adhesive from the chipboard it would be better to overboard using 6mm cement board,I would not tile on chipboard as this is always prone to movement using the cement board will give you a more rigid substrate.
