70m wire fence 3foot high plus barb wire costs and suggestions? farm style
Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 2.57 PM
How much would it cost for a wire fence using wooden post, pig netting(?) 3foot high with a single strand of barbed wire. It is about 70m long. The ground is clear however old fence needs taking down. How much will it cost approximatly. I want it to keep dogs in garden as the keep chasing rabbits. Do posts need to be concreted or knocked in? Do i ring a normal fencecontractor/gardener or a farm fence contractor? Do posts get knocked in by hand,

Hi The price should be in the region of £2.00. £250 per running meter. depending on access, the posts are rammed into ground using hand held or hydraulic ram.A man and a tractor can erect 100s of meters in a good day.Hope this helps. All the best from A 1 Fencing

I would not put a barb wire fence around, not with dogs. I have 2 stuffy and they can get over a 6 foot fence, also they will dig under it. Best fence concrete post and gravel boards. Thank you, Adams Fencing
