Signing off new build - G3 certificate

I have new asked to help signing off a new build, the building regulations officer has said that the G3 hot water needs to be signed off. Can somebody explain to me what certificate this needs so I can explain to my plumber and how it is submitted to the building regs, online or paper copy?
