Plaster Damaged From Other Side of Wall

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 2.59 PM

We have an internal wall which is plastered. On the opposite side we are having the kitchen refitted. During some work in the kitchen involving channeling the wall a hand sized area on the plastered side has now come off. There is a slight bulge on one half and an indent on the other. All surrounding plaster looks solid. Depth of the bulge and indent is inly 1mm but its noticeable. Should I get a plasterer to sand this down and reskim that portion of wall then re paint? Or is there alternatives? Thanks.

Hi there This area needs to be cut out and then re-plastered smooth then redecorate or it could re appear in the future. regards Joseph

At a depth of 1mm just fill it and sand it down , save yourself some money.
