Pitch glass roof leaking again - foil seal torn open

I have a pitch glass roof on the back of the property and was leaking which led to dampness to the internal wall. I had it fixed 3 months ago and now it's leaking again. It seems that the foil seal on the edge of the glass and the side wall is torn open and the internal wall which I just replastered has sign of dampness again. What shall I do?

Have it done properly with lead flashing rather than flash band which will continually fail.
