Installing Combi Boiler - Removing Old System

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 2.59 PM

I live in a flat with a shower in a converted loft. We have an old conventional boiler with a hot and cold tank, and a salamander pump in the floor below the loft. The pump was installed when the loft was converted. If I replace the boiler with a combi, I understand I can get rid of the hot & cold tanks. Would I also be able to remove the salamander pump?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Yes the pump would have to go, both hot and cold would be mains fed and you can't use a pump with that setup.
