can my 50 inch tv fix to plywood?

can i put my tv up on top of my fire place? the place were im putting is ply wood looks like finish ply wood looks good sturdy stuf and was just wondering if i could just fix the 50inch to it?
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hello,
If the fireplace is not in use, then yes the plywood is strong and can hold easy a TV just make sure that the plywood is fixed strong to the wall.
