Hi,what is the best roofing memberane to use on a fully boarded roof? I'm looking at slating a canopy porch which has a fully boarded roof. What are my options for giving it the best waterproofing/protection underneath the tiles or slates I eventually use? Thank you

Felt is the traditional material to use but there are many new fabric type materials available check with your local builders merchant on what they have in stock and prices. I do find the new materials better and tend not to use felt anymore except for sheds etc.

Go to your local roofing supplies & ask for a breathable membrane.
