Hot water tap runs hot then cold

For the last 4 weeks ALL of the hot water taps in my house run hot then cold. I can fill up half a washing up bowl with the hot water then it goes cold. I cannot get the hot water again until about an hour later and then only half a washing up bowl. I have a combi boiler but the heating is working fine - all radiators are unaffected and my electric shower works fine to.

Two possible causes here: 1. Diverter valve not operating correctly 2. As above plus Hot Water stat/sensor faulty Suggest you contact a competent Gas Safe heating engineer
