Welcomed Nathan's response to my ad and organisation for the site visit, quote and doing the work. Job well done.

allthough this is 18 months after installation, it all went wrong from start. wrong levels, which we reluctantly accepted, and over 120 slabs laid with the incorrect full mortar per slab as per contract and manufacture instructions. most slabs are now stained and loose,some were rectified within in weeks off installation. however, a reputable company would admit there mistakes and this is what Nathan did. he admitted mistakes had been made and offered a substantial refund which we excepted. this must have been a loss to the company as 3 weeks and 4 men. although this was allso inconvenient to us and more cost to rectify by another company. recent feedback for this company is excellent so perhaps they've taken this problem as a learning curve. I have allso recommended Nathan on a few time over the last year or so. I'm sure the company will go from strength to strength. but , as any work being done, a contract is a must

Nathan and his team did a fantastic job taking my concept for two patio areas and a series of connecting paths between them in our garden (that started out as turf in a new build property). His team were the most polite respectful team we've ever had the pleasure to work with on a job in the garden or house, and over the years we've had many people do work for us, so that was a huge bonus - especially the double shift they pulled to make up for the numerous bad weather days that hit the project. Nathan was not pushy when he bid for the work but clearly explained everything and helped us make good decisions about the materials to use. We took a while to decide who to use, but he was not pushy during that time and provided us with additional information as we requested it, and helped us tweak the job specs before we started until we were happy both with the proposed outcome and the price. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Nathan and his team to anyone looking for a complex patio. He also did a great job of cleaning up at the end - which is often when jobs lose their momentum and the person doing the job wants to get on to the next job. For me this is one of the most important parts of the job and goes a long way to making the whole job go off well.

Nathan and his team were courteous to our needs at all times, despite some poor weather he completed to the agreed timelines. His work was to a very high standard and would definitely recommend his team to anyone

Very good team, quick, polite and great communication. They built a patio in my garden in few hours and did an excellent job. Very happy with it can just recommend them !

Nathan and his colleague tidied up the garden of my late mother's house, which had become quite overgrown - the grass was about a foot high. They arrived promptly and had started work before I arrived - as agreed - and carried on with the work efficiently and professionally with a courteous, helpful attitude. They tidied the lawns, flower beds and hedges, and left the garden looking neat and presentable - exactly as I wanted. I am completely satisfied with the job they did, they were a pleasure to deal with and their price was very reasonable. I would certainly go to them again as my first choice for this kind of work and I would recommend them to anybody.

Nathan did us a very nice tidy job - just what I asked for. His price was fair and he consulted with me throughout to ensure the end product met my requirements. I would be very happy to recommend Wilson Landscapes to future customers.

Even though Mr Wilson's quote wasn't the lowest, we selected him for the job because he sounded professional and convincing. Unfortunately it was a huge mistake. Patio area: approx. 7.5 sq. metres. Artificial grass area: approx. 25 sq. metres He quoted for 25 sq. metres of artificial grass but the invoice he gave us showed that he'd bought 45 sq.metres. After going round shops myself to collect other invoices we discovered he had bought 6 bulk bags of Type 1 hardcore and 2 bulk bags of limestone. He also invoiced for a hand saw among other things. The fence was shoddy. The bottom wasn't properly sealed, there was a gaping hole along the edge of the grass and bottom. A panel was left lose. I had to buy stones myself to cover the space. Lessons learned: 1. Always have sketched drawings of what needs to be done 2. Buy as many items as possible yourself This is the worst job I've had done at the same address in 10 years. I will not recommend this tradesman at all.
