    L2 Fault on boiler
    At first we were happy with Adams service as he was able to come quickly after being let down by someone else. He found the issue within 10 minutes and asked how I wanted to pay. His rate was agreed at £72 per hour, I was paying cash so he said £70 was fine however I only had 4 x £20 notes. Instead of giving me my change, he said he would take the £10 off the bill IF I decided to go with his quote. If not he promised to bank transfer the money back to me. The following morning I received an extortionate quote of almost £400 so after looking at different options I told him no thanks as we didn't have that kind of money and I included my bank details for the overpayment . I did not hear back so messaged again regarding the £10 owed. The messages I received from Adam following this are denying that he owes me anything, and that he had already ordered the part before I agreed to the quote which is not my problem. Because of this he has now decided to charge VAT on top of my cash price and wants to invoice me a further £6. This is purely an unprofessional and immature reaction to me finding business elsewhere and seriously not what I expected from what I thought to be a good, local tradesman. Make sure you look around before paying a penny, he quoted me £189 for a part that my SSE plumber bought today for £25 and wanted an extra 2 hours labour charge for what today took around 20 minutes.

    I’m so confused about this negative comment But I’m a honest guy and my morals are right so when speaking to Connor and Jessica offline they offered me to pay them money to not write a bad review.I was shocked I said write a bad review because I won’t lie or back down for something I believe in. Call out to this job was £72.00 plus the vat =£86.40 I came late notice as the plumber before had let them down (I will add I spoke to Connor earlier in the day and he didn’t like my price so didn’t use me )anyway I came out and diagnosed the main issue plus some other bits that needed addressing.I said that will be 86.40 please to Jessica, Jessica didn’t have enough on her so I said him just call it £72.00 then I said actually just call it £70.00 but she only had x4 £20.00 notes.Jessica gave us the go ahead to fit the new parts so gave me £80.00 I said I’ll take £10.00 of the next bill when we fit your parts. All agreed no issues.I gave them a quote there reply was I’m just waiting on the insurance I’ll let you know.no problems my end, the merchants ring me saying your parts are in and it’s on a special delivery charge as it’s urgent £12.50 again no probs Jessica came back to me saying my quote was expensive and you owe me £10.00 . I was baffled. I’ve tried to help these people and the fact is they owe me £6.40 from the call out The fact someone has ruined my 100% 368 customers positive reviews for a call out they still own me and me trying to be nice is difficult to take.

    Central heating chemical flush
    Adam determined that a chemical flush wasn't needed following a BG homecare visit that insisted that was what was needed. It turned out to be faulty rad valves and following adams advice BG returned to do the correct job

    Flush heating system and replace one poor radiator
    Adam did the work in a very timely manner, despite the fact that it ended up being a lot more complicated than we had thought. He persevered until we were all happy with the positive result. He showed incredible patience! Many thanks.

    Radiator replacement
    Called out to quote for a radiator only. Adam is very polite and courteous and we have used his services previously. He told us that a radiator was not required on this occasion and have helpful feedback on potential problems in the system. My only feedback would be the transparency of charging a call out fee - it cost £65 + VAT for a 5 minute visit where two TRV pins were lifted. The system still isn’t working and we have the boiler warranty out this week. I was informed of the cost as Adam was about to leave... the insurance company have agreed to cover this cost but my feedback would be to state the costs upfront to avoid surprises.

    Hi Nic Hope your well? You had no heat in two radiators and had previous engineers around with no joy. My call out fee for a no heating or hot water is the above. I found the issue and got heat to the rads.I also gave you the advise you need to move forward as you have insurance and boiler Guarantee.weather I was there for 10 mins or two hours your paying for the job to get done ! It was 👍U are a existing customer so you know fees and chargers.I hope the insurance send a better engineer and they get your system back up to full working order. If not you know where we are.     to remove a radiator in less then half hour I WAS CHARGED £50.00.
