Outside tap installed but unfortunately there were a few issues issues we are unable to resolve. Having said that both plumbers were friendly, turned up on days said, provided a quick quote with options.
According to regulations, all outdoor taps should have an isolation valve, which enables you to turn off the water to the tap, without needing to turn off your whole water supply. It should also have a double-check valve fitted in your internal pipework to prevent dirty water from flowing back into your main water supply.
One was not fitted and when I realised I was asked for more money to fit one. Due to the text exchange I'd feel uncomfortable letting them back now and it's partly my fault for not checking the work sooner. Hence the neutral rather then negitive.
