    Kitchen splashback and painting

    Hired Whibard's at short notice. Quoted very reasonable price on a Monday and completed the job on the Sunday. Found them to be friendly and trustworthy (left them in the flat all day whilst we went out). Pleased with the job and will be hiring them again in a few weeks to carry out further work to our home.

    Partial refit bathroom

    This job was carried out for my 82yr old sister who was obviously very wary.The job involved plumbing, decorating and leveling existing floor. She found Peter and Nick considerate, polite and friendly. They turned up on time and were very clean and tidy in their work. They did a first rate job at a very reasonable price. She would highly recommend them.

    Removal of an external toilet.

    The Whinhard builders responded straight away to my invitation for the job. They arranged to come round at a time that suited me to take a look at the work involved so that they could give me a quote. I am very pleased that they did - competitive quote and excellent work. They were on time, polite very friendly and just got on with it. When they finished they cleared up plus asked me to check things over and make sure I was happy and yes I was. I would most certainly recommend them. I have also asked them to quote me for some more work, so I am more than happy with what they did.

    Painting the front of the house
    Very friendly and polite. They did the job when the said they would and with no hassle. I would recommend them.

    Part Kitchen walls

    The tiling itself is really good but unfortunatly they damaged my brand new kitchen and they said that they would come round to see the damage but they never turned up. They didnt seem to take care in protecting my kitchen as they used a fleece jacket to cover my touch screen hob (heavy zips) and piled a bucket and tools on top even though I asked if they wanted me to cover it. Such a shame that I have to leave this negative and I am left with a damaged work surface that I hadnt even used :(

    Answer from tradesperson:

    We covered the hob to protect it with a thick fleece,rather than a thin sheet.They wasn't heavy zips & certainly wasn't on the glass. We was very careful as always not to cause any damage & believe we didnt do as we take pride in our work and aim to please. After receiving a email accusing us of the damage to the work top. we replied straight away to go see the apparently scratched worktop the next day but conveniently the customer was busy,so it was said to go the following week but we was extreamely busy the monday & away on holiday abroad the tuesday so couldn't make it. unfortunately we was left this negative feed back which is upsetting as we left them with a nicely tiled kitchen & has dented our good professional reputation.

    bathroom refurb.

    Nick & Pete have created the perfect bathroom for us and surpassed our expectations. I can’t recommend them highly enough. Punctual, friendly, polite, hard working – all for a very reasonable rate. They came and worked from the morning till sometimes 9pm+ at night to get our bathroom up and running for us. There was a lot of intricate tiling work done in our bathroom and the guys kept their promise and delivered to a great standard without additional hidden charges on top; not to mention working around our schedule to add the final finishing touches and the cleaning up afterwards. They will definitely be our first point of call for any future work to be done at home. Thanks for the work guys, we love our new bathroom!

    Bathroom design and installation

    Peter & Nick did a terrific job installing my new bathroom. Their price was very reasonable, they were always willing to accommodate changes and they worked bloody hard. I would certainly recommend them and will use them again myself next time I need something done.

    Tiling kitchen - around worktops up to wall units.
    Very pleased with finish. Nice couple of chaps who worked very and didn't even stop for lunch! I have already recommended them to a friend. thankyou
