Air brick installation
Chris attended the job on the agreed date but did not come prepared with the right materials but tried to get on with the job anway. As I explained in my original message, the house is a 1930s home and would require lime based mortar. Had I not mentioned this at the time, the job would have been done improper without lime mortar, causing potential moisture and brick issues later down the line. I decided to cancel the job as at this point, I lost confidence in the service. Any competent brick layer understands that period properties require lime based mortar, I shouldn't have to explain this, it should be an expectation.
Answer from tradesperson:
Hi I don’t understand why you would write review on a job that I have not completed . Yes we turned up to carry out the work (air vent installation ) And like I explained to you on the day we forgot to put the lime mortar in the van that morning and we agreeded that we we would return and complete the work with lime mortar Then you decide to txt me at night and cancel the job then leave a poor review which is disheartening and un called for as I’ve spend money on the job lead and 4x air bricks so at a lost now . I take great pride in what I do .
