From the moment Ray and the team arrived the service was amazing. Firstly they completed the job in less time and on budget and left the place in immaculate condition even though there was a huge amount of dust and debris produced. Professional and conscientious we couldn’t have asked for better. I work from home and they were even flexible enough that if I had calls they were happy to stop drilling :)
Now the days are getting shorter and cooler the fire is lovely to have and we’ll spend many a happy evening sat in front of it.

Ray and his team were fantastic with the installation of our wood burner - Ray always responded to my queries and was excellent at fitting in with the timings in respect to other building works that were going on around the wood burner. They were also excellent at tips on how to make the most of the wood burner and how to properly use it.

Ray and the team did a wonderful job on re-lining two of our chimneys, refurbishing a wood burner, installing two wood burners and removing and replacing an existing fireplace with a new hearth and surround within our listed building. From supplying information for planning consent to organising two scaffolding towers, which appeared while we were at work, and completing the jobs inside the house within the time and price agreed it all went without any problems. I would definitely recommend Ray and his team to anyone looking for a reliable company.

Robert Neave was very efficient, he collected the grate when he said he would, fixed it and returned it and fitted it a week later. He did an excellent job and I would certainly recommend him to other people.

Arrived promptly, covered all furniture with dustsheets and swiftly got to work. Work carried out to a very high professional standard. Once job completed, tidied and cleaned the area thoroughly. Would definitely recommend this tradesman, as not only was he polite and courteous his knowledge and experience of HETAS installations was outstanding.
The quality of his work was 5* all the way.

Ray Holder and his team has done a fantastic job! If you want a professional, prompt and well executed job - and the installation of our wood burner was challenging to say the least - Ray is the best man for the job.The wood burner looks great; Ray and his team put slate hearth around it, plastered the walls and did some extra job for us for no charge, just to help us out. Once finished, they cleared up after themselves perfectly.
He was a pleasure to deal with, charged a very reasonable price and I have no hesitation whatsoever to highly recommend him.

I was given a competitive quote but it was the can do attitude that made me choose this company, and am glad i did.
On the day the fitters arrived on time , they were polite and communicative. The job wasn't as straight forward as initially thought but they talked me through the issue and a decision was made together on how to continue.
Due to the alteration that needed to be made they contacted Ray who brought the extra slate that was needed and then he helped to finish the job.
My furniture was properly protected from soot and dust , my wooden floor protected from any possible damage. I am more that happy with my fireplace, stone mantle and multi fuel stove.
I would be very happy to recommend and will be using Ray for chimney sweeping and maintenance.
As a lady who lives alone I felt comfortable with the fitters in my home so would also like to recommend Ray if you are worried about tradesmen being in your home.
