I’m very confused by this review, I was initially contacted in regards to a couple issues resulting in work the customer had done recently by another company whilst their property was renovated, when I arrived the list of issues tripled, along with their builder asking me questions and advice. I advised the customer of all the faults, some requiring ceilings to be taken down if I couldn’t find another solution as the previous company had run pipework in ceilings, not under the void in the floor upstairs. I found a solution which did take two hours to find, but saved hundreds of pounds in taking down ceilings, re plaster boarding and skimming. Due to the list ever growing I advised I’d need to come back to resolve the extra work, arranged for the following Wednesday, this was the only day I had available as always very busy. Over the weekend I was made aware of a friends funeral being held on the Wednesday, I made the customer aware immediately and apologised I wouldn’t be able to make the appointment previously made and due to being booked up possibly wouldn’t be able to for a short while. Due to me being unable to attend the appointment I decided not to invoice for the work already carried out, I did this as a gesture of good will, only days later to received this review.
