    HALLWAY
    Ben does really work like a Trojan after his namesake. He's reliable, honest, keen and willing to learn something new. Ben is happy to take advice from the customer with their ideas a good role model for his assistant with patience and commitment. Ben is hard working committed and reliable, he's done a great job for us!!     Kitchen floor and splashback tiling
    Outstanding job, very friendly and professional. Kept us informed at all phases of the work. Really happy with the finished work and definitely would use them again. Highly recommended.

    Ben was very courteous, nothing was too much for him, very nice person, tidy and did an excellent job with my bathroom, will definitely recommend Ben to friends and family.

    Bathroom tidy up

    Ben called myself after posting the job, very polite and we arranged for him to come out and give a detailed quotation which was a very fair quote!! Ben was very well mannered and felt like I could trust him in our house while having to go to work!! The work Ben has done has been exactly the result we was after and couldn't ask for a better finish! Ben was always clean and tidy when leaving at the end of the day and kept us updated with how the tiling was going!! We will deffently be hiring Ben to tile our kitchen and floor later in the year :) happy customer!!!!!

    Rip up old tiles and take away. then relay 20m2 natural slate tile floor. Materials supplied by customer. Just need quote for labour thanks James

    Ben was very quick to come out and give us a quote he came out the very next day and started a few days later. we were desperate to get the job done so he shifted a few things around so he could get fit us in ASAP. He was polite and well mannered. He gave us a very competitive quote which we excepted. He done a fantastic job of the natural slate flooring. He brought a couple lads with him to remove old floor ect the job was completed in 2 days and we are 100% satisfied with the work carried out. Will definitely hire again and recommend to anyone. Thanks ben top bloke:)

    Remove and replace blue lias flagstone floor 31m2

    After posting a positive feedback issues cane to light on closer inspection. After advising Ben who had promised me s'fabulous finish' this was not the case I have advised Ben that I was not happy offering the opportunity to put it right and was met with personal insults - Ben was aware that the previous ruined floor had caused me tremendous upset and that I was keen for this replacement floor to be perfect. I feel extremely upset at his attitude

    ***I really need to make it clear to future clients that this is very untrue and unfair feedback*** The work that this client is unhappy about and referring to is two tiles. One which has a hair line crack through it and the other being a tile that is a different shade to the rest, (natural stone) I can say hand on heart that this client left a great review initially and when she called me to discuss these slight problems (that could have been resolved) I offered to come up the following week, this was not 'good enough' and I was insulted verbally by client. I was booked in on another job and unable to leave it until following week. I would have done repairs but she adviced me not to with aggressive verbal abuse. Couldn't believe it!!

    Ensuite Shower Room
    Ben had a blank canvas to work with but sadly I am unhappy with the end result. The bathroom walls were plastered and even and only an inexperienced tiler could go wrong, sadly I think this is what Ben is. Cutting and lining up of tiles is inaccurate, hence the grouting is out of line and this is annoyingly evident. The mosaic border tiles are very uneven in some places where I assume not enough adhesive was used and there are areas where the grouting is almost non existent. I could have done better myself !!!!!

    Answer from tradesperson:

    This is unfair feedback. I would like to point out the walls were not flat and level, they were quite the opposite. I'm fairly sure customers don't go into a plastered room and put a level on the walls, they were bowed 100%! You can't pack mosaics out as adhesive comes through joints! Walls need to be flat and they weren't. It was agreed this was a day's work on a day rate price when quoting job. After all it was only half height, but on the day the customer informed me she wanted it floor to ceiling (not in price) as a result of this it took a further day. I explained to customer it would be 2 day rates, she asked why, I explained in full. (After all I carried out two days) She paid but out of spite has left this bad review. Unfair!

    Bathroom tiling needed. Floors & Walls
    Hired Ben and he didn't disappoint. He was helpful when he came round to quote the job, he answered every question in detail. Between hiring and the start date of the job he kept in contact to check everything was all fine. Time efficient every day, a very hard worker, and the bathroom looks much better than we imagined. I would definitely recommend him and wouldn't hesitate to hire Ben for any future job we need doing

    Quote for tiling
    Thanks Ben for fitting us in so quickly. Communication was great, i trusted you whilst i had to leave the house. The tiles look great. Reasonable price. I would hire you again when we need our bathroom done. Thanks Ben.

    Tile length of bath, and 1 short length of bath, plus refit shower

    Ben arrived on time, he was very efficient and very friendly and did a fantastic job putting up a full wall of mosaics around my bath, I would recommend him to anyone, Thank you it's made my bathroom look great, Debs
