John and his team did a fantastic job. He came round on Saturday morning to quote and discuss works and managed to squeeze to his very busy schedule as a matter of urgency for the job that needed doing. Would highly recommended Town & country fencing & gates and also would not hesitate to use again for future jobs. Great work, thanks John!

Initially all seemed well, job completed swiftly , bill settled, feedback left. But both tenants later complained that the gates warped chronically. Advised firm both directly via email and thru MyBuilder but was totally ignored. Would have to advise avoiding if you want the job to last a year!

Ollie came the same day of my inquiry and gave me a quote for my fence post I decided to get spurs on 4 post, he came the next day and completed the work. He was punctual and polite would recommend.

Ok I admit my budget was only about £50 and told him it was a rented house but the fence wasn’t straight and attached over another bit of wood which should have been removed. Took him 15 mins and It was a complete botch job. I got another man in who laughed at the fence and asked if a 10 yrs old had done it, this man corrected the job took him 1 hour and only charged £65

Town & Country Fencing & Gates had very good reviews on MyBuilder so we chose John Evans & his son Ollie to replace our wooden side gates. One of the new gates was warped but John replaced it within a few days. We asked John if he could build us a summer house & he said yes. He quoted £5,400 to build the summer house & we went ahead with it. The job was finished on 22/9/23. By 17/10/23 the inside of the roof was damp mouldy. On 18/10/23 John did come & look at it & stated he would rectify it. By 23/10/23, the concrete floor was also damp. We agreed in view of the bad weather we would leave the work until Spring 2024. In the mean time we have lost faith in Johns ability to rectify the issues & on 14/2/24, I wrote to him stating we would like a full refund & for him to demolish the summer house. On receiving no reply we went to his home address in Turkey Rd, as shown on MyBuilder, to be told he had moved. I have emailed 3 letters, texted & phoned him just to be ignored.

John took the time to advise me on the options available to me when he came to quote. John and Ollie carried out the work very professionally and efficiently and removed the old rotting gate posts and gates, leaving everything clean and tidy. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again
