The finish on the ceiling was very good, however, it was unfortunate that the agreed date for the job could not be met. It was annoying that the carpet outside the kitchen was left completely unprotected adn it was unforgiveable that a ceiling rose was left above the plastering and had to be cut back out.Answer from tradesperson:
2 men completed the job in 1 day instead of 2 days as previously agreed. Job completed on agreed finishing date. The “ceiling rose” was actually a light socket that had been mistakenly boarded over by the tacker. This was discovered and rectified. The kitchen where the work was carried out comprised of major equipment for the provision of meals for 50 people. Plant placed in this area would have been a health and safety hazard to workers so plant was placed outside the door (the safety of workers is paramount) On completion of work, we cleaned up this area as minor dust had fallen off our plant, which would be consistent with such equipment.

Trevor, sent around a clear quote detailing the work after his first visit within a day or so.After I had sripped the wall paper myself and also removed some old cabinets he came around again (so 2 visits at no cost before job had to begun) to make sure no nasties had emerged. He did the job with 3 guys in a day (which was convient as it in meant only one day working from home). Everything was completed as agreed and as also available by phone an email for genernal questions before and after the job. If you're looking for a plasterer who does great work, is professional, curteous, punctual, extremely tidy & respectful of your home and gives a good quote look no further, hire Trevor. He was flexible in fitting in with my schedule as I was organising work in London, from Scotland. He popped round to view the room then the work was done in a day, not rushed and even included some additional bits and pieces, like repairing some decorative cornicing which I'd accidentally broken off. The finish is practically flawless. I am very pleased and can not recommend him highly enough.
