Matthew came to check the cold room on my new build home above the garage straight away I could tell he knew his stuff.the builders of my new build have told me numerous times there was nothing wrong and this was normal.matthew went out of his way to come round twice to check this for me he cut a whole in the wall with my permission to find his instinct was right no insulation. He then took this up with the builders on my behalf and they have now admitted they are wrong after his hard work and photos and knowledge I'm getting my problem sorted thanks to him .hes a very genuine guy and arrived on time when he said he would I've already recommended him to friends and family .thanks again Matthew I'm glad genuine builders do exist.

Matt has been excellent throughout from quoting to completing the job to a high standard. Really good communication and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to friends and family and will be using him again in the future.

Matthew came to our property to remove the ceiling. We were really pleased with the work done, Matthew kept everything tidy and even removed the carpet for me which I needed to do but hadn't included in the original request. Really great guy and would have no problem working with Matthew again.

Quick & easy communication to organise and prep for the plastering job, arrived when arranged and has done a very good job for a very reasonable price. I have requested Mathew back to quote for bathroom fitting work due to the positive experience. Very good tradesman.

Matt refurbished a bedroom to a high standard, removing beams,putting in a new ceiling and full plaster of the walls, new electric sockets, new radiator and lighting. He also fitted an internal door from the hallway to garage. Matt was always on time and cleared up after himself. During the job, he came across a few other problems, but dealt with them professionally. he has the patience of a saint ! I would recommend Matt and will be using him again in the new year.

I have recently had a loft conversion and renovations to the master bedroom completed by Matthew. The work is really outstanding and I am very very happy with the results. Matthew was extremely helpful when issues were discovered due to the structure of the house and bad DIY completed by the previous owner. There were no hidden costs and I was kept fully informed of progress throughout the project. I couldn't have asked for a better job at better value. I will be employing Matthew again in 2020 to complete further renovations to the downstairs. Mrs Lloyd

Friendly on time did a great job and was neat and tidy

Matt had a very positive attitude from the start of the quote process. He organised all the necessary calculations and Building inspector requirements. The job was started on time, stayed on the job until it was completed. We were comfortable for Matt to be alone in the house to carry on with the work. Job went very well, and we were very pleased with the results. Would recommend Sutton Home improvements to anyone.

A first class job, 5 stars out off 5 for everything. On budget on time. Plastering superb, a certified electrician, window fitting, the plumbing, it all works perfect, the finished job including a fine example of tiling has exceeded all expectations, very happy. Matt was committed and hardworking, he would work weekends to shorten the project for us ( creating new bathroom and adding new bedroom space within existing structural walls) and his professionalism and personality was a pleasure to have employed. I can highly recommend.
