I needed my old rotten wooden windows replaced with new uPVC ones. I trawled through all the big national window companies, who all came to see me, had tea, talked at me for hours about how their windows were the best in the country, you can't find better ones, and doing massive sales speeches, quoting me sometimes through-the-roof prices even with their amazing fictional discounts ('just for you, just for today'), and saying I had to wait 10-12 weeks before they can install.
In comes Steve. No sales talk, just got to the point and on with measuring up. I immediately got a good vibe and sighed with relief. The quote he gave was very good, far less than the others.
Windows got made and Steve fitted them about a week after he measured. Even though unfortunately his fellow fitter had broken his foot the night before, Steve got on with the job himself and finished within two days. Absolutely zero mess or dust, and the quality of fitting and the windows themselves is brilliant. I even got bonus advice on some DYI projects I am working on. I will most definitely be calling Steve in again for other jobs and have no hesitation in recommending him. Thank you Steve!
