Steve discussed my requirements yesterday and turned up this morning on time. The three parts of the job were efficiently carried out and Steve cleaned up at he fiinish. I would recommend Steve Jones for this type of work.

Steve is efficient, experienced and full of good ideas. He worked with us to develop the bathroom ideas and helped us source good value materials. Extremely clean work from Steve and his fine team of sub-contractors. Communication was excellent, the results were very pleasing and minor snags were dealt with quickly and cheerfully. We look forward to working with him again in the near future.

Steve fitted us a new kitchen and did an amazing job. Very professional and hard working we will be using him to also fit our new floors and all other future work.

Steve came and viewed the job seemed like a nice chap but communication wasn’t great from the start with me having to call and chase him for any info. It was left that he was checking if Hawdens had matching kitchen units , then it was left that he was referring to his electrician - then silence. , multiple calls and messages but ghosted. All I can assume is that the job was too complicated for him , or that he picks up and drops jobs (cherry picks) mid way through when a more lucrative job comes through. Either which you should be concerned because it was simple replacement of kitchen cabinets and cooker plus hood instillation. The outcome is 3 weeks wasted for nothing, having to start over again with a bad knock on effects due to tenant move in dates. My father was a builder and he would never had ghosted a customer. Unreliable and time wasting.

Hired Steve to make my elderly mums bathroom bigger with a walk in shower, basin and toilet. There was some structural work involved in taking a wall down too. From the very start of the project he was friendly, polite and communicated well when a question arose. Put my mum completely at ease.. Very trustworthy and got the job done when he said he would. Very pleased with the work and will most definitely hire him again for other jobs. Would absolutely recommend to anyone. Lovely guy.

Friendly, informative, great communication, great work, great price

We have always had our downstairs front room as a bedroom for our 2 sons and when the time came for them to move out it was an easy decision to turn that room into a living room space. The work that we needed doing was quite varied and we were looking for a builder that was easy to talk with, friendly with us and our dogs, trustworthy and could understand our needs/wants with the room as we aren't exactly technically minded. Although we looked at other builders, Steve came round when he said he would and consistently delivered on his promises and what was very important to us is that he was genuinely a nice guy as were the team he had working alongside him and it is very probable that we will go to him and his team for any future work - we are already saving up for this to be done! The work we had done was a lot of prep work, plastering, painting, plumbing, electrical and a fair bit of additional 'small jobs' that were never too much trouble for Steve. Steve leads a really good group of tradesmen that will respect you and your property, they will do a brilliant job that is fairly priced. Steve's attention to detail and the pride in his work is brilliant and we would strongly recommended Steve for any future work you might have - you won't be disappointed. It is a shame that I cannot put before and after pictures on this review as the transformation is beyond our expectations.
