Slight delay starting the job because of recent gales and them being let down by scaffolder. We were kept informed of slight delay. Job completed to our satisfaction. Nice people to deal with. Following damage to my and my adjoining neighbours Ridge tiles during Storm Eunice I asked Jake to quote. He responded quickly, surveyed the work needed and then carried out the work all within the week. He communicated throughout the process so we knew when he was coming, the work he had done and also gave practical advice. His price was very fair and reasonable and lower than the other quotes we had received. Then that time came and went, then the rain came and the roof leaked with rain pouring down our walls. No response to either my emergency calls or texts. Not for impressed and will not ever use again. Ps. Got a call 8 hours later to apologise but too late as more damage now incurred.Answer from tradesperson:
Due to storm Eunice, i have received a lot of calls/messages to roof repairs. I was called to an emergency repair from this and had to carry work out to ensure they would be watertight. As you can all imagine, the strong winds/rain yesterday wasn’t easy to work in, I missed many calls/messages because of this but have rearranged since with customers understanding. I am unsure as to why this review has been left, I was only viewing the job, not carrying work out. As you can all see from reviews left by other customers, I am a very honest and hard working tradesman and the comments left are unfair. Regards, Jack Webb Stevan Webb And Son Roofing

The job turned out to be shorter than expected and he took this into consideration and charged me pro rata. I would definitely recommend Jack as he made me feel that all jobs are important no matter how small.
