    Cistern replacement
    Excellent service from start to finish. Starry responded to my urgent request for a toilet installation immediately. During the install, they identified an issue with the floor level that would have compromised the new toilet. Instead of just ‘fitting over’ the problem, they took the initiative to change the flooring section to ensure a perfect finish—all without increasing the original quote. Professional, generous with their time, and top-quality workmanship. I will definitely be using them again.

    claustrophobia
    Three lots, promised a lot, charged a lot and didn't do a lot.. charged over £3,000 to apply a tub of £70 water sealing and put up some plaster boards, then tried to charge me another £400 to bolt the stairs to the wall, told me he was going to put in an airbrick fix joist etc,the front was a different job which I was told needed to be done prior, I've had the work under the stairs inspected by the insurance company and they've confirmed that there wasn't £3200 worth of work done..

    Answer from tradesperson:

    Well I don’t know where this has come from, you called us as under stairs was soaking wet, we stripped it all out, found 2 massive holes leading to outside the front of your property, rotten joists, flooring rotten! We installed new timbers, filled 2 big holes with sand and cement, damp proofed walls, then your other trades man nearly went through stairs and your stairs completely dropped, we support stair case, fixed it back into place, then installed new timber frame for support, installed new marine ply floor, installed plasterboard onto walls. Also carried out and advised you that the water was coming in from the front off house and to put acid drains in to get water away from front of house! Then you asked for it to be slabbed at front of house which we did for you We carried out loads of work for 5 days with 3 trades men. We have sorted the problem for you and you was over the moon so don’t know what’s changed. I’ll attach pictures for everyone to see that this review is not true

    Bathroom panel
    Very efficient team, posted the job in the evening and they came second day and replaced my bathtub front panel which was cracked. Punctual & clean, very happy with outcome. I recommend using them and I will use again when needed.

    Washing Machine escaping water
    Excellent service! I had an urgent leak from a washing machine and needed a plumber quickly. He arrived fast, was very polite, and got straight to the point. He resolved the issue efficiently and provided the necessary paperwork for my insurance immediately. Highly recommended.

    shower needs replacing
    Loz was brilliant getting the job done quickly, replacing the faulty shower and ensuring that it was safe to use in time for my visitor, who was impressed, just unfortunately that she lives in Portugal so too far for Loz to repair anything there! I shall certainly use Starry Dreams Ltd without hesitation again as the communication was excellent.

    Repair separated sink waste.
    Mark completed the job promptly.he repaired a broken waste pipe in very cold conditions and kept me informed of his progress. He will be contacted for future jobs. Very satisfied.
