Matt was an excellent worker, done a great job with the rendering. He was clean and tidy, I would highly recommend. Would not hesitate in hiring Matt again.

Matt originally re-plastered our hallway, landing and living room, and hollowed out our chimney breast so we could put mount our TV on it. Our two bedrooms were then re-plastered also about 6 months after that was done. There is not much to say except the work that he does is simply immaculate. The lines and edges are crisp and clean, and I cant imagine that the overall finish gets much better - my girlfriend was taking the mickey out of me because I couldn't stop running my hands over the lovely flat walls! He turned up when he said he would, did everything (and a few bits and pieces extra!) that he said he would do and cleaned up after himself. Work was done within the timescale that he said, and the price that he quoted was the price that we paid. When he originally looked at what we wanted he even gave us some ideas that we used. He simply cant be faulted and clearly takes a lot of pride in the work that he does, and all at a very reasonable price. We consider ourselves grateful and lucky that we found Matt when we did. Him and his helper got a tray of beer each as a token of our appreciation once it was finished! We originally found Matt on MyBuilder, but had to wait a few months before Matt actually started as we had some saving up to do as we were having other work done around the house. It was worth it!

I asked Matt to quote us for some artexing on our ceiling where a wall had been taken down and it all needed blending into the existing artex. Came out within a couple of days and quoted us there and thn for it which I like, no waiting for it to come through the post, he also booked us in his diary there Nd then. Matt explained that it was a pattern that could be blended but it may not be exactly matched but very close, we were fine with that. Matt phoned me the day before his appointment to confirm details and time etc. I cannot fault Matts work, it was like a work of art! He kept redoing the artex pattern until he himself was happy with it. I was amazed when I walked in and saw the ceiling, it was perfection. Matt is a brilliant person, very friendly, chatty and trustworthy. His work really is like a piece of art! I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending him to family and friends. Matt has just finished doing work in my lounge which involved him removing a fireplace, building a stud wall so that my TV could be hung on the the chimney breast and installing shelves to put the DVD player etc.. Matt also skimmed the ceiling, removing some rather fetching artex swirls so the ceiling was flat. Matt has done an excellent job and I would recommend him to anyone. The price was cheaper than I thought it would be, particularly as Matt had to do a bit more work on the chimney breast than was originally envisaged. Overall I felt the value for money was excellent. Matt is a very nice bloke - you can certainly just leave him in your house to get on with things. He was also concerned when he thought that he's accidentally let our cat out, who we have only just had and so are keeping in for now. After initial panic, he realised that it was in fact the neighbours cat outside our front door - ours was safely asleep upstairs. It certainly showed he caring side! Matt also really helped us out by doing a couple of extra things such as changing the light fittings for us while he was plastering the ceiling and cutting cutting shelves to size and installing them in the fireplace. Matt did so at no extra cost; you really can't ask for much more from a tradesman. Overall, an excellent job and Matt's work with give me many hours of TV watching pleasure. Highly recommended.

Matt is a chirpy chap that knows his stuff. His quote was a fraction more than the others I had but he quoted a day and a half for the job instead of one like the others. And personally I'd rather have someone that gave themselves the time to do a good job without rushing and compromising quality. He arrived bang on time and got straight to work. All floors were thoroughly covered and at the end he hoovered and left the place spotless. I can't fault the quality of his work especially considering the state the walls were in. I now have lovely smooth walls. I'll definitely be keeping his number for all future plastering jobs! I highly recommend Matt.

What a star Matt is. Job turned out to be more difficult than anticipated, due to the poor condition of the walls (Old house) and after me failing to give him some rather crucial information, the kitchen ended up being too small for the units to be fitted, entirely my fault not Matt's as I hadn't given him the size required. Matt, however, came up with a solution and managed to rescue the situation quickly and cheaply and also threw in some extra hours to still keep the deadline for my fitter to be able to start on time. He really got me out of a hole, and managed it with a smile on his face too. The boys did a great job, were always spot on time or early and gave me a really competitive price with a clear breakdown of costs. Would happily recommend to anyone, and will also happily use again for my remaining plastering work. Excellent, honest, reliable team. First rate.
