Absolutely made up with the job Stephen completed today. So much so he is coming back to do another job for us next week 👍 Stephen was very professional, courteous and friendly. He text ahead to let us know exactly what time he would arrive and was punctual. We would definitely recommend Stephen.

Quick service, and quality finish

I was having trouble with my central heating system, I contacted Steve via this website, he came out to have a look and within minutes Steve was able to diagnose the problem just by listening to the noise the heating system was making. He then returned later on a pre-arranged date to rectify the issue and in less than an hour he had my heating system up and running again. Steve is friendly, reliable, very skilled in his profession and always on time; therefore being great at his job and very reasonably priced I would definitely contact Steve again for any further work required at my property, I also highly recommend his services to all other customers visiting this website. First of all i am very impressed by this website: after wasting 3 days trying to get a gas engineer with all refusing the job or simply not turning up i got a reply after 1/2 an hour of posting my request. Next day Steve was there to find out that was a simple issue: the rubish bins were covering the gas escape and stopping the boiler to ignite. Amazingly Steve detected the fault just by hearing. Easy diagnostic, easy fixing and low price in the end. Thanks Steve.

Came and gave me a quote for a central heating job - was told at the time it was for 4 hours work. Changed date which wasn't a problem but when he called to change day he said he would only be an hour and a half. He was just shy of that time. Was concerned because he told me when he gave me the quote that he gave an itemised bill for the work. I have now asked him 3 times for this and he still hasn't produced it I was concerned that in the beginning quote was for 4 hours and he was only in the house less that an hour an a half, did I still get charged for the extra 2 and a half hours? Had to call him back as we still didn't have constant hot water, said we needed another part which we were quoted £35 plus VAT by the time he left it had risen to £104. My husband said he would try to get the part himself as that was too expensive. Steve did say he would come out and fit it free of charge but if we had been charged originally for 4 hours work it would not have been 'free'. My husband got the part online for £28.80 inclusive of VAT and it has now been fitted by someone else. Steve is very amiable but as he hasn't produced the paperwork he had originally told me he would I am afraid I would not recommend him.

Steve was polite and phoned to keep us informed of any delays he encountered in coming to do the work. When he arrived he explained the work needed to fix the problem. He did the work quickly and efficiently and left the bathroom clean. We would definitely use his services again.
