I am very happy with the work Jacques did for me. He came around to confirm my exact requirements and then fitted the job around my schedule. The quality of the work was first class and his attention to detail and cleanliness was superb. He pointed out I had a problem with my kitchen worktops sinking and has been back since to rectify those as well. Highly recommended. Was quick to start. Wasnt the best painting job Ive had and he moaned a lot about prep work which all decorators need to do prepare the walls etc.Answer from tradesperson:
never had a problem with preparation as this forms basis of finish achieved.quote to paint walls and wood only minor filling involved.Arriving at job,after week postponed,found chimney breasts out in 3 rooms by other trades.Unfinished coving by other trades &doorframes split from new doors installed by other trades.He expected me to sort all as part of preparation.4 days to have a face to face meeting with him even though he was there every day talking to the other trades but avoiding me.In the end I had to fix their unfinished work so I can get my work done,but without extra payment.the last 3 days the flat's front door was kicked down twice by burglars which we repaired and redecorated without charge.

The advice on technical issues from Jacques was also really helpful for us, and we trust him implicitly. The price of works done were very reasonable and stuck to their quotes without fail.
