Did some great work with the shower room but some finish touches are completely missing. I was at fault of not ordering enough tiles and we had to wait so some work were postponed and some were not able to finish in the end. However, during the paid days, he just didn't do much and at the end left with a lot of work undone which he could have done (a few pointed out by the builder who later completed what was left) He just need to be more proactive.

Excellent work: quick to respond and completely reliable. Would definitely recommend to others.

This was one of the best quotes we got and we were really pleased with the job he did for us. He gave us really good advice which was important since we d never had any work done before. We left him with keys to our house& he just got on with the job whilst we were at work. He was also really tidy after each day which was great. Would defin recommend him&use him for future jobs.

Jacques was very good -- he arrived on time, fixed the immediate problem and did as much as he could to address the wider problem and update the system (but it turned out to be an issue with my building). Would definitely hire again.

Jacques did a very good job. Our bathroom looks great. In addition, due to a delivery mix up which had nothing to do with Jacques, our sink did not arrive on time, but Jacques came back the following week to finish the job. Overall very happy.

Jacques arrived punctually and fixed my toilet flusher. I thought it was a bit expensive for work done. Paid cash and he did not provide a receipt.

Jacques just finised a bathroom gut and re-fit for me at the begining of Sept. Firstly, job was completed to a high standard. Jacques was professional and flexible and although there were a few complications with the job, he completed on schedule and didn't change the quote. Recomended.

3 main problems: Honesty, Reliability and communication. - He didn’t explain that not setting the bath straight would mean wonky tiles, so I now have wonky tiles above my bath! - Jaques told me it would take 3 days, I took 3 days off work and he didn’t work on day 2 as his ‘daughter was throwing up all night’. What a waste of my time. - He told me that if he didn’t get paid cash the taxman would be on his back. I have a major problem with this. I pay taxes and he doesn’t. What honest decent tax-payer wouldn’t feel annoyed by this? Another thing that makes me doubt his honesty is this: Once the tiling was finished we put on the washing machine that he’d disconnected and reconnected. Water leaked from the machine into my downstairs neighbour’s house. Jaques went to see what the problem was, and told me the washing machine pipe had worn away. There was nothing wrong with the washing machine before he moved it, and I think he was just too rough with pushing it back into position which is why the pipe broke. He tried to tell me he was charging me £60 to fix something he broke. He never mentioned claiming on his indemnity insurance for the damage to my neighbour’s home, which makes me strongly doubt he is insured. - So I would not recommend Jaques. If you basically want someone who makes you take time off work unnecessarily, someone who pays no tax and doesn’t appear to be insured if things go wrong, then he might be for you, but not me.

Jacques was timely, neat clean efficient and did a good job - If a little expensive?? We did ask a fair bit of him though! Maybe the legend of Ali Baba and the Forty Plumbers has an element of truth? Haha
